My laptop was free - my boyf found it abandoned in a building whose previous occupants had been shut down by the feds or something. The battery doesn't work, the mouse works part-time, the power cord is frayed and the little plastic bit fell out of the usb port so now it shoots sparks when I try to use it, but hey man. It was free. free=awesome in my book. It's only like 10 years old.
