I've been playing it, I know have a 16 esper and 16 medic.... You will like medic better ;)
It's all PBAoE and sustained dmg/dots/healing... Closest to d/d ele i think
I don't think you'd like the root from esper.. They have another skill viable for auto attack that isn't as good, but no root. The burst skill is a phoenix that comes out in a line and does massive dmg, but you need to build max PSI for it to do its most dmg. Plus some more high burst skills...
