Just buy a new graphics card (either r9 390 or gtx 970) and you should be fine for a couple years. You didn't mention which i3 processor you have but in general i3 will struggle for gaming, you would want an i5 or i7 if you upgrade as they perform significantly higher then i3s in benchmarks...
