In case anyone was curious, soloing a sorcerer  SUCKS!!!!!<div>
</div><div>If anything attacks you, you die like tissue paper.  Your only hope of living is attacking one guy at a time and keeping him slowed/immobilized long enough to kill him before he gets to you.  Good luck not aggroing something else in the meantime, though! After you've managed to live through three or four guys this way, you're out of mp anyways.  You have to rest, or use up slow recharging skills to recover mp, and hope nothing sneaks up to you in the meantime.  I was gonna give the sorcerer another shot in the beta but playing it is like beating my head against the wall!!!!!!!</div><div>

You gotta use the right powers in order, just mess around dawg.  The knockback and slow one is really useful, and yea you really can't Fireball everything down like Sorcerers in most MMO's.
 
If you want something more solo friendly, give the priest a try, and pick chanter when you ascend, you can get into melee and also heal, buff and debuff (and the buffs are so nice), they can also wear chain mail and use shields, obviously it doesnt do as much damage as a sorceror, but you certainly wont die as much, i'd go as far as to say a chanter is the best pve class out there in terms of soloing.

But yeah hanna is right mages are realllllly support classes which is good and bad at the same time. Good thing is that you will always get a group invite =p bad thing is you will have a hard time solo'ing

Pokemon Master = Spirit Master

But yeah their pretty decent from the videos I've seen.
Plus making a sorceror automatically makes you a 14 year old trying to become famous in a video game by PvPin.
Just saying..
