So who else is planning to preorder Aion? If you do, you get a 48-hour headstart in the Live game.

I plan to schedule a few events for the early access period, and wanted to get an idea of how many people would be willing to join me. Nothing special, but maybe gaming hardcore for 12-hours or so on the Sunday that we have before the game's Tuesday launch.

<span style="color: #ff0000;">My understanding is we can access live servers at 12 a.m., on Sunday, September 20th if we get the preoder.</span> The game launches at 12 a.m., Tuesday, September 22nd. So obviously being able to play Sunday and set up Vindictive quickly will give us a big leg up.

So who's interested? I'll finalize a server early in September, but I know Lanks suggested Siel as currently being the most active.

And if you're going to buy the game you might as well preoder. It doesn't cost more and you get more free stuff. DO IT.
 
I preordered a few weeks ago through the ncsoft store.

pfffffffff all you rookies besides hanna (((huggles))) I had the collectors edition pre-orderd and paid off before tryden could spell aion >=D
 
more than likely i am gonna wait till it comes to stores for 2 reasons: 1 i am moving and don't have the cash this check so if someone wants to buy it for me i will be gratefull

2. i get my discount buying it at wal-mart

I don't think you can have a space in the name, but I don't remember.  I have no idea if they have last names like what WAR had.<div>

  If there are no space do you want just the first name or just run together?  I will also look up last names in the meantime unless someone else knows.</div><div>
</div><div>Edit: So I looked it up on www.aionsource.com fansite forums.  Seems there spaces were allowed earlier but there was trouble sending chats.  Recent beta weekends, spaces and special characters weren't allowed.  No news on last names unlockeing later on.</div>
 
When is the game actually being released? I'll most likely pre order, but I'm not sure when I need to get it done.
 
Aion launches on the 22/23 of September.
But if you pre order you can start playing on the 20th.
 
Hmm.. Alright. Would I have to preorder online in order to get into the early access?

Had to reimage my computer, so I don't have Aion downloaded anymore. I would much rather pre order from Game Stop or something
 
You can preorder it from Game Stop online.  You can always call and ask if you preorder it in the store if you can still get early access.
 
K, you're smarter than I am.. I'll do that. On another note, would I be able to download it from NCsoft right after the pre order and just wait until the release date? If I'm stuck with this wireless internet, another game download will be living hell.

then just pre order through the NCSOFT store and you can play the early access when they launch it.
