Its a sandbox topdown class-less/skill progression system. Crafting and Economy is the focal point, guilds can own territories and fight other guilds for the lands in 5v5 encounters, trade routes to take your goods or plunder other's, also open world full loot system.

It will launch free to play but you can get a $30 founder back to play the next few months in the on going beta(beta doesn't shut down). There is a cash shop that works like gw2 cash shop(i.e. gems to gold conversion) but since the game is full loot......whats yours is mine >_<.

Oh yeah almost forgot, its cross platform so you can play on pc mac or even android\ios. Been chilling on the couch playing this all day watching DBZ lolololol.

I do have to say Albion has its points. I have been a founder for a while now and have enjoyed it... but the grind is real.

Resource gathering is no joke either, be looking at hours of running on your oxen collecting stone for not much return. It takes a lot of resources to build your own Guild Island. Everything in the game pretty much revolves around resource gathering, crafting and farming with combat as a means to do those.

Zone system is kind of familiar as it uses a slightly modified EvE online approach. Green Zones are PvP free and can obtain resource tiers 1-4, Yellow and red zones you can flag yourself for pvp and attack whoever but cannot go back into a green zone until your flag timer resets and you can usually see them on the map with a counter of how many people are in the zone with you. Black zones are complete pvp free-for-alls and no map help.

Keep in mind, full loot is even when you die in PvE as well. Anybody can come and grab your stuff. Nothing is safe... not even your mounts or founders pack gear.

Anyways, I played by myself and got bored fast. If we get a group going I will play again.

Yeah feel yah on the grind but I enjoy that type of gameplay. Gathering resources and building up my own islands is pretty rewarding.

Also I already lost my armor once >.< but was able to retrieve it before someone else looted it. It's pretty exciting venturing around but it's def hard doing it solo.

Well I'll probably be playing this for a while considering this beta is lasting till august and Camelot unchained and crowfall isn't coming out till 2017 probably. BDO doesnt have a release date either T.T
