Anyone play Day Z?

I feel like we talked about this on vent (or maybe it was someone else...)

But I wanted to try it out and there were a few others. I remember we almost bought it when Arma II was on sale on Steam. 

If it goes on sale again, and other people want to play it, I'm down. ^_^
 
I have dayz. Never play it though because it isn't fun all alone.

on a side note when are people going to get on L4D2 and/or Heart of the Swarm?!
 
Wasn't me that you talked to about that.

Now that Steam has an install for the mod, it makes things easier. Unfortunately there is more to it than that. When the time comes I can make up a guide that will walk everyone through the last few steps. Just let me know.

L4D2 is definitely a go still. I haven't been able to get on it this week because I've been mucho busy, but this weekend for sure.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy the SC xpac, though. Read some meh reviews on it. Also, I think Spine might not buy it either, due to the fact that Starcraft is Kryptonite for Asians.
 
Those meh reviews were probably due to the fact that this is part 2 of the trilogy so it left you hanging with the story. Thats my guess I have not completed the story. And honestly the story isn't the best part. It the online gameplay. The new units in this exspansion are pretty awesome

I'll probably still end up buying it because I have Wings of Liberty and I might as well find out where it goes.

Also, way to threadjack. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT DAYZ.

Edit: At the end you can also see that there are still bugs with the mod.

I shall pass this on to Genma and Lanks. They said they'd buy it if it ever got that cheap.

On a sidenote, isn't a standalone DayZ title in the works?

There is a standalone in the works. No idea on release date yet though. They have said "There is a release window... we just are not ready to share it yet."
