As I've been spending a great deal of time on Test server messing with the changes to the bases I've come across some disturbing things. As of this posting, our base is not in compliance with the changes being made on test. For example: Our generator. It is surrounded by Arcane Posts. This is no longer a valid layout. A physical pathway that can be traversed by a walking player must be in place. Also, the same holds true for DAs. They are more difficult to hide and easier to find without creativity. I've managed to make a few changes on Test to our current layout that make it harder to find DAs yet at the same time, its a little obvious where they are. Hard to see but the fact that an area is hiding something is obvious.
What this means. We need to change tactics. On test I have been able to create "prisions" Small sections of posts and hanging lights (maze style) that form blocks. These blocks lead nowhere and don't block anything so they are legal constructs. However, the only way in or out is to TP. I have a total of 6 such blocks and I will attempt to incorporate more.
I'm also trying to make choke points. Areas where they can't come through in force. This means though, that with the random spawn points we will have to work together and harder than ever before to get the people where we want them.
