Ok, so first question.  Why is it that some Barbarian cities actuall say NPC and then their level, while other Barbarian cities have an actual city name as well as a Lord and Prestige?  It looks just like a normal player's city, until you click on it and it shows you the Barbarian description.<div>

Lanks and I and I think Ash started up on server 61 because it's new and there aren't a bunch of higher level guys running around trying to gank your city.  Lanks is at 432,459 and I'm at 390,428.

I joined a random alliance named IceStorm on server 61.  Seem friendly enough people and one of them started chatting with me right away so that was a plus.  It gets teh allaince quests done pretty quick

hmmmmmm? lanks held a ak47 at gun point and forced me to go to that server o_o but i still play on the old one too rebuilding my army to get that guy that attacked lanks and me

BTW, don't bother joining that alliance.  The guy talking to me was chatty but ended up just trying to hit on me then latter he was trying to pick up anther chick and gave his number over the alliance channel.  Kinda creepy after a while. Unless you wanna fuck with him, then by all means.  I think it would be amusing.
