Free Respec for CO

I haz dedicate this thread to any updates on the free respec/recon for CO.  Please post if you has any new information pweeze!
 
Bit early to be needing a full respec hm?


Also, how do you make your toon your avatar on the forums? D: I checked main character but Idk how to set it to Ivy so it keeps making Lawlsuit my avatar. Not that I have anything against my little Wolverine look-a-like...
 
Devs have officially said they don't know how to give it to the characters that were made for the head start, and what ones have been made since. I guess file creation date on their servers doesn't work the same way it does on everyone else' computer. Most people think that with the major up coming power changes that they will just give free ones to everyone.

There is no time limit on the free Retcon: once you are granted one after tonight, you will be able to use it whenever you like. However, free Retcons do not stack with each other. If you do not use your free Retcon, and in the future we decide to grant one to all users (or users with a certain power set, etc.), you will not receive a second free Retcon.

I want to make sure to thank the developers who moved around their schedule to make this feature a priority. I know how important it was to everyone, and I'm glad we were able to develop the tools barely a week after the game launched. Enjoy!

I'd suggest you all save them up, if they run it like they did CoH, you'll be changing powers all the time due to nerfs/buffs/changes in animation.
If your low level, maybe try to save up the money and respec then.
I would imagine its alot more expensive at 40/50/60 (whatever the cap is)

They stopped stacking respecs (unless it got bugged) a few issues ago

Freespecs never stacked when I played, but respec trial and vetspecs all stacked, so you could have a lot of them...

I have a few that I want to redo. I might need to switch out Death and Taxes and put Wartorn in the SG, since DaT was going to be a test build for him.

If you would like you can even have both toons in, its no big deal untill/unless we find out what the SG roster limit is or if some sort of SG progression is implemented.  Until then, alt are welcome if you play em
