got my first tat today

i'll have the bandage on til tommorrow so no pics of it itself. 

Anyways, I got it on my right tricep, no it didn't hurt, and it onlycost $160.  I also drew it myself, but he added to it.  Heresthe orignal design.

you schedule is all screwed up since you work nights.  I work in the morning and stay out late.

On a serious note...

Why the word Heaven?  I'm not knocking it nor am I trying to start a debate... However, I have a degree in World Religions.  I know a lot about the major religions in the world and none really approve of tattoos.  None ban them, but none approve either.  I've always thought it odd that people get tatoos of religious icons/words/phrases when most religions don't think highly of the practice.  Again Hell, I'm not knocking it.  Its a cool tat and I'm sure it holds significance for you.  Just like my wolves hold significance to me.  I just always found religious tats to be odd.

And yes, I'm aware that the first tat is cross-eyed.  Rest assured the guy that did it did NOT recieve full payment as the product was shit.  I just happened to be first in line for tats when my buds and I went on cruise.  The others saw mine and decided to go elsewhere.  I wish I had been second in line that day.

The meaning of the entire tattoo means "You must go through the"Son"(Jesus) in order to get to "Heaven""  The Sun representsJesus and the symbol being in the middle signifies you have to gothrough the sun to reach the symbol.  Thats why I chose thisparticular symbol.  The same symbol also stands for "ten" and"sky".
 
*Indignant sputter*  WHA?!?!?  5 years?!  You impertanant whipper-snapper!  I'll have you know I'm in my *cough cough* prime!  *Wheeze* and no, I don't plan to be "old and wrinkley" so I have *wheeze* nothing to worry about!

 Very nice work Hell, I like the meaning.  I have one myself, there isnt any pictures of it ATM, but Ill get one soon.
