How was your FFXIV Beta Weekend?

I had a blast. Got to level 16 with my Archer, got in some Guildleves and Guildhests(sp?), then late Saturday night I got hit with the dreaded "error 3102" and was not able to log in again, only about 15,000-20,000 were affected ><. I was disappointed but I still enjoyed my time spent. I may even go and buy another copy just to get in on the early access.

How was your experience? Was it everything you had imagined?

I didn't play FF14, and feel like I'm pulling a Spine here by posting in a thread of a game I don't play, but it did sound like everyone who was on vent had fun playing this.

And that KIND of has me interested in picking up the game.

But then again, I'm doing a new recruiting push for GW2 to prop up our numbers. So it would be un-leader like of me.

That is the correct server. I am not sure if we got a company up but the only person I ran into in game before the "error 3102" was Coldchylde.

Not sure... I say it like Coral... like coeurl reef. Not sure what the proper pronunciation is ><.

I have heard a lot of people say it almost like curl.

Others have said it like coo-earl.

I really liked it. I got that error too lol. It sucked I couldn't play it all of Sunday. I only got to level 14 I think, but it was still fun

Gonna try to pick up a copy today. [Depends if I get too lazy to walk to the store or not]

I don't think you were able to make a company during the beta. I got my pugilist to 17 and also trained lancer to 7. Goldsmithing, mining, and alchemy are all around 15 as well. However the only error I recieved was 90000. I wasn't able to do dungeons and some instanced quests but other than that I enjoyed the game and can't wait for early release.

I might take you up on that. But it wouldn't be till the beginning of September. I'm pretty close to my bandwidth limit for the month (it's a Canadian thing blergh)

Oh right, this has a subscription. I've gotten so used to MMORPG's not having subscriptions anymore. WHY DOES THIS HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION?&nbsp;

Valid point. I will say though that I personally think it is worth it right now. I am having enough fun to justify the money I spent. I am even going to buy another copy in case the wife decides she wants to play. If Tryden is willing to share, I can let you both try it out during the 30 day trial. Just putting it out there.

Valid point. I will say though that I personally think it is worth it right now. I am having enough fun to justify the money I spent. I am even going to buy another copy in case the wife decides she wants to play. If Tryden is willing to share, I can let you both try it out during the 30 day trial. Just putting it out there.

Hold on. Is there fine print here? Do Apog or I have to pretend to be your wife if we try out the account? I'm OK with that, but I may draw the line at having to wear a dress. LET'S NOT GET WEIRD.

Although I foolishly left the house without socks so I have blisters on my heels QQ
On an off note I got to watch a crazy old lady power walk through a highway intersection during a green light. Brave, impatient old lady.

Got my Archer to 17, but sadly saturday night i was hit with error 90000 while loading into the second dungeon Tam-Tara and well..3102. It was fun though i'll probably be picking it up, and early access starts this saturday. Also if it means anything its only $12.99 a month so its $2 less than the average sub.
