Myself and Stone Fang were thinking (yes, you should cover your heads as the sky IS falling), and we have come to a complete thought.  I feel that if we want our members to play in SG mode untill lvl 35, shouldnt we have those who are already higher in LvL play OUTSIDE of SG mode?  I mean, how hard is it to buy enhancements even when you are out of SG mode.  A full compliment of LvL 40 SO's is like almost 4 mil (or something very close to that).  So I propose that for every 5 or so IN SG mode mish's, you do 1 or 2 OUT of SG mode mish's.  That way we can help out all those who are actually in need of infamy.  Let me know what you all think.
 
Thats what I said 3 months ago but nobody listened to me.  It'salso alot harder though being 40 instead of 50 to do this and there hasto be enough ppl playing lowbies to make up for the lost prestiege.
 
Personally Hell, it won't be as large an issue as you think.  See, I made my millions by being smart about enhancements.  Lowbies can live off of drops until 12.  At 12, if they have sold at every opportunity, they should have enough for a full set of 15s.  Don't buy new until 18.  Or live off of drops again.  Its when the SOs come around that you get money problems. 

Once you have a full set of SOs, and you want to upgrade, lets say to 35s...
Between 30 and 32 you do a respec mission.  We help out with this.  Bank the respec until 32.  Select our powers and slots, and then SELL everything.  This gives you the cost of the origanal SOs back (roughly 4 mil at 32)  When I did this, I only spent 1.5 mil to get all my 35s.  I did the same thing for 40.  I banked a respec.  If I run out of SG mode for a week, I can easily make another mil or two.  If 4-5 of us do this, we should be able to finance the majority of the SG.
 
Your still not looking at the whole scope of things.  My HG is #1on Protector and the only reason because of that is because everyonerolls newbies constantly or we have new low chars coming, plus, we haveenough high lvl chars with money to pay for stuff.

Right now, not alot of ppl are playing and if someone isn't on to payfor your shit, that creates a problem.  I'm sure that all of thiswill change with i7 with storage banks and such, but until then, it isa fairly large problem.
 
 I tend to agree with Hell in this matter.  The lack of us higher LvL guys actively playing will make it hard to finance all those lower LvL peeps that we have all come to know and love.  And when I7 hits, it will be easier cause of the storage options.  Personally, I play Stomp very often both in and out of SG mode.  Im currently up to about 2 mil or so and thats only playing for about an hour or so running mish's.  I dont think its that big of a deal.  Also, knowing that real life has stepped in and I have to work nights, I think we should take volunteers that will be kind enough to "launder" money from those who cant make it in while the majority is on.  Any takers?
 
I think maybe my wording wasn't as descriptive as it could have been...
I'm not saying that EVERY 40 should be doing this.  I'm saying, assign 3-4 folks who play their mains, not alts, to remain out of SG mode.  When you really think about it, 4 folks running with the sole purpose of earning cash for the SG will yield better returns than if everyone ran an alt.  Example:
Stone Fang is assigned to collect money.  Stomp, who runs in and out of SG mode, now makes an alt.  He is getting prestige for the SG.  He is actually getting more prestige as an alt than he did going between SG mode and out of it with Stomp.  However, when he hits 32, he doesn't have to leave SG mode.  He can stay in SG mode beause Stone Fang will be able to finance him by that point.  With 3-4 people (post 32) only earning money for the SG I feel we will be able to make this work.
 
I agree with this. At this point you guys already know who are loyal to the SG and at that lvl the prestige isn't that high either. Let the 35 and up play out of Sg mode.
For newbies it's gotta be a must. They do bring more - I belive.
It there a way of trading infamy for prestige???
Can the lvl 35 and up, turn in all salvages to bring more prestige to the group?
And how much of a contribution are salvages? Can we trade them in for infamy??
 
Salvage can't be traded for infamy.  And salvage is a tough animal because whatever you make with it, once placed, HAS to stay in that room.  Which means if we make changes we lose the item.  Yes, we get the prestige back for it, but we lose the salvage it was made from.

Infamy can be turned into prestige but the rate is horrid and not really worth it at this point.
