Very simply, Lighthouse was asked to lie to us. He has never comeacross as a person that would do this with a clear conscience. I greatly respect his departure from NCsoft. I would say that hisethical standards are too high to continue working there.

Here are the details:

He was asked to get a document from current players about how toenhance PvP in CoX. He did this. Hundreds of hours and collaborationwere put into highlighting the real issues that make PvP less popularthan it could be.

This document was submitted to Lighthouse, and he took it to thedevelopment team and management. Management decided to completelydisregard the entire document with the exception of one point. Theydecided to completely dismantle the PvP game and start from scratch tocater to a new and hopefully bigger audience.

Lighthouse posted that he understood why current players were upset, that the changes were not being made with them (us) in mind. This wasof course obvious to everyone. He just put words to it.

He was then instructed to immediately retract his admission. He wastold to say that the pvp game revamp IS being done with current playersin mind, based on our feedback. This was a lie, and I'm sure he knewit; so did the players.

While Lighthouse was asked to lie to us, Matt Miller posted anannouncement on the main web-site saying that indeed the current pvprevamp is meant to target new players, and that current players will beupset.

So now, Lighthouse was asked to lie to us, and his boss iscontradicting him. It's like I've said in other posts redpill. Thethings going on in CoX right now have probably never been seen before. This is very out of character for this game, and people feel veryshocked and dissappointed.
