<font class="post">After Minamoto no Yoritomo became the first shogunof the Kamakura shogunate and seized power from the aristocracy inKyoto. Lord Tigre became very jealous and plotted to overthrow the newshogunate. In secret, Tigre trained up a group of ninjas to assassinateYoritomo.
As a ninja himself, he decided it best to join hisgroup of ninjas, known only by the names of the animals representingthe year they were born. Seven days before the planned assassination ofYoritomo, the Tigre clan was attacked while training and all killed.
AsLord Tigre lay dying, a voice spoke to him and offered him eternal lifeand the use of a demonic Oni known only as Fire Lord. In return, Tigrepromised to, with the help of his clan of ninjas and Fire Lord, destroyeverything in his path as he gathers souls to be sent to hell.</font>
