So yeah, I know a lot of you are playing Tera right now, but would anyone be willing to jump on some LotRO? If you have not played since it went f2p, let me tell you, LotRO is one of the few games(imho) that has gotten better since it went f2p. It is one of the few f2p games that gives you the in game store currency just by playing, meaning that you can unlock the whole game just by playing, albeit slowly, but it is possible. The game is wonderful, from the storyline to the graphics(which are being updated zone by zone), to the music.
Speaking of Music, you can even play instruments in game and play actual songs. Did I mention player housing(being overhauled in one of the next few patches)? If enough of us got together we could even buy out an entire neighborhood. The possibilities are endless.
The game starts out a little slow at first but at level 20 is when it picks up, that is when you can start skirmishes. Skirmishes are instanced "events" that scale to your level and how many people are in your group. Meaning you can run them solo, or up to a full raid. There are also three difficulty levels to them: tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3. They also have ranging objectives from freeing The Shire from Sharkey's men, taking back Bree from bandits, attacking goblin fortifications in Moria, attacking the Witch King, to survival(wave after wave of undead) in the Barrow Downs. At high enough levels and difficulty you can get tokens for raid gear.
More on Skirmishes here.
PvMP(Player vs. Monster Player) pits the Free People of Middle Earth against the armies of Mordor in The Moors. You can access Monster Play after you have reached level 10 in game. You have 6 classes to choose from that start at level cap(currently 85). They are:
Orc Reaver: Your only free class. Dual wielding swords, DPS.
Orc Defiler: 800 Turbine Points. Magic user, debuffer and healer.
Spider Weaver: 800 Turbine Points. You play as a big fucking spider. Crowd Control and Dots.
Uruk Blackarrow: 800 Turbine Points. Ranged, DPS Dots and crowd control.
Uruk Warleader: 800 Turbine Points. Tank, buffs, and minor heals.
Warg Stalker: 800 Turbine Points. Play as a Wolf. Stealth/Scout, burst dps, and debuff. (Perfect for Pepper as players even form warg packs^^)

With one of the last expansions they even added a raid for the Monster Players. I have not done this but I have heard it is fun.
LotRO sports over 40 dungeons and raids not including skirmishes(most are instanced, a few are public, from parties of 3 to 12 or 24 person raids). They have added a dungeon finder finally(only took 4 years) but it works well. Most dungeons have a minimum level to start them but most also scale to your level i.e. The Barrow Downs dungeons start at level 22 and scales to level cap. Some of the earlier dungeon like the Barrow Downs use to take hours to complete because they were so long. They have fixed this by breaking it into 3 parts now. So now you can run the part that you want.
The game is updated regularly. Recently they just added 5 new dungeons and implemented mounted combat. I have not gotten that far yet but I am close and looking forward to it.
If interested I would recommend downloading and installing through Steam, as Steam does not try to install "The Happy Cloud" that Turbine uses to allow people to stream the game while installing. If you do try it and decide you want to play a little further, pick up the Mithril Edition found here. I have also seen it at GameStop. It is $30 but you get the best value as you get 4 map unlocks, a mount, and 2000 turbine points. Or you can subscribe for $15/month and get the entire game for free.
Ok, now that I have gone through my sales pitch. If anyone wants to play, I am on Meneldor server, and I pretty much have 12 characters ranging from levels 7 - 70. Yes, I have played on and off since beta and still don't have a toon at level cap. Just let me know if you want to give it a shot or if you have any questions.
