Hello all,
I just put my app through on the site for joining up for the group on Champions Online. Been playing CO since closed beta and picked up a lifetime sub. I came into CO thinking I was going to do primarily PvE, but I like PvP in CO so much that I want that to become my focus in the game. Saw the post on the CO forums and thought you guys would be right up my alley.
Quick info about me: I'm 29, live in the fine state of Michigan in the US, married, got my first kid on the way, have a lil dog, work in IT over 10 years, etc etc. Now to the stuff you actually care about. lol
I've dabbled in a lot of MMO games over the years (a great number of them), but the only ones I played heavily were Asheron's Call, (do people even remember that game?), CoX, and now, CO. My PvP experience has been pretty much restricted to CO, since everyone I've teamed with in any other game only cared about PvE. Well, PvP is massively fun, (no pun intended), and I think an SG that is geared toward that would be a perfect fit. So, that's why I am here.
Characters in CO: (yeah, I have quite a few)
Dog of War (one of the ones I played in head start, but Sept 1st patch hit that one hard, waiting on respec)
Broken (same as above)
Razor Wit (same as above)
Wartorn (pretty much my main now. He's the char I started PvP on. Record is around 15/4/0. Yeah, those 4 were my first four.)
The Specialist (Trying out a new PvP build around chaining attacks that damage and hold, seeing how it pans out. Getting used to his flow before PvPing him)
Death and Taxes (concept rebuild of Wartorn. I like this build a lot. Tried him out a few matches on PvP last night, undefeated so far. High scorer in all the matches but 1, where he was second place.)
In closing, I just want to say thanks for your consideration and look forward to any response given. If I get to be part of your group, I look forward to laying waste to any and all comers with you all in CO PvP. Thanks guys, have a good one.
