I got this idea from a conversation I saw today between Stomp and IdiotBox. So, I took the idea and ran with it and would like to see some of your suggestions for new powers as well. Since I play mainly a brute, I'll post a brute powerset.
Primary Power Set: Acid Reflux
This powerset is a well balanced mix of ranged and melee attacks. The user suffers from Chronic Acid Reflux Diesease and has learned to harness the pain and suffering, not to mention the bile, into a destructive force that few can resist.
Rolaids Punch
Range: Melee
Damage: Minor
Recharge: Very Fast
Stun: Mag 1 5%
The Suffer of CARD (Chronic Acid Reflux Disease) always has a roll or three of Rolaids Tablets on hand. By holding these in his fist he can hit harder than normal causing minor damage and possibly stunning the foe
Tums Dust
Range: 10' Cone
Damage: Minor
Recharge: Moderate
Debuff Accuracy
When he runs out of Rolaids, the CARD sufferer has his TUMS to fall back on. By crushing the tablets in his hand and blowing them in the faces of his opponents the sufferer can slightly reduce the accuracy of all affected foes.
Burp
Range: Melee
Dmg: Minor
Recharge: Fast
Hold: Mag 1 20%
This short ranged attack summons forth the stench of the decaying stomach lining due to CARD. The horrible smell deals moderate damage to the victim as thier sinuses are overwhelmed. There is a small chance that some enemies will be so overcome that they will be Held momentarily while they try to get a clean breath of air.
Belch
Range: Melee
Dmg: Moderate
Recharge: Moderate
Hold: Mag 2 40%
A stronger version of Burp, this attack carries a much more concentrated scent attack which burns the victims nose, mouth, and lungs. There is a good chance that they will be held while trying to expel the noxious fumes.
Spew Acid
Range: 20' (Cone)
Damage: Moderate (DoT)
Recharge: Slow
This attack allows you to cough up actual stomach acid and spit it in a small cone. The acid is highly toxic and can cover multiple foes in a small arc in front of you. The acid will slowly eat away at the clothing and skin of your foes dealing moderate damage of time.
Tums
By popping a couple of Over the Counter TUMS tablets, the sufferer of CARD can quell the buring in his chest and gut and concentrate for a moment in order to unleash a much more damaging attack and accurate attack for the next few seconds.
Taunt
This attack allows you to attract attention to yourself and even to pull the attention of an enemy that is attacking an ally.
Vomit
Range: PBAoE
Damage: Minor (DoT)
Recharge: Moderate
The sufferer of CARD often vomits, creating a thick puddle of bile and half digested food in an area around himself. This puddle slows the movement rate of anyone entering it and deals minor Acid damage over time.
Vomit Jacket
Range: Melee
Damage: Very High
Recharge: Very Slow
Slow
Hold: Mag 3 75%
You get up close and personal with an enemy and vomit on him, producing so much volume that you literally give him a jacket of vomit. The smell, weight and stickiness of this attack slows your opponent's movement speed and attack rate and has a good chance of holding him completely as it hardens around him if it doesn't outright kill him as the acid content eats away at his flesh.
Thats a primary. Let me know if you want me to post a secondary or a powerset for another AT.
