Base Makeover

Well, we have gotten 5 votes for and 2 votes against a base makeover.  So.  What do you guys want?  We are keeping the tech theme, (at least for now) but what would you like to see happen as far as layout, defenses, and cosmetics?  The more info I have the better I can make the base.  However, keep in mind that things are expensive and we may need more prestige before some ideas can be implimented, but that doesn't mean your input isn't without value.  So please, comment on what you'd like to see in your base.

Everyone pleas put some kind of input on towards to Stone.  He spent a long while on the Test server last night trying different things out to see what and how everything will impact us when I7 hits.  Remember, YOUR inputs are gonna forge the way Vindictive looks, feels and acts.

I have my base (alt SG) already so I could care less what it lookslike.  Make it a giant pile of shit for all I care, make ppl lesslikely to raid us once we get an IoP lol

Thats an interesting idea.  Maybe we should just put random things everywhere.  That way people dont know what to destroy!  Good idea i think...

I think we should dump the tech only theme.  I've got soooo much non tech salvage with my two main toons.  I care more about functionality then looks.

This is possbible and feasable.  However, remember please that we have a small plot.  With our current setup, it will be a little challanging to meld the two themes.  We're not opposed to mixing the two, and I'd like to.  I'm still playing around on test and haven't done any actual changes to our live base.  I will begin looking at possible melds and room specific themes.  Thanks for the input.

If we're going to keep doing base raids, then it shouldn't matterreally what it looks like as long as it serves it's function of a PVPbase.

we need to access that point of making the base for base raids since we dont get any participation for base raids. During the last raid it was just me,lady,behr,bill,johnnoe,keg. Thank goddness we had lag and dc problems we used that as excuse to cancel the raid...

When was the last raid?  The last one that I recall was scheduled when Tryden was still here.  To my knowledge, we haven't had one since.  If we did, it was unknown to the majority of us.

If you want to schedule a raid, talk to Lady Firegoddess or Stomp.  Send an in game e-mail.  They will relay date and time to me and I will post it in the news section and on the event calander.

it was scheduled by lady and it was posted in Motd for last week or so. The next raid is with SoE saturday at 6 pst/9est.

It was scheduled for midnight EST.  That's kinda hard for us eastcoast folks.  Sunday evenings or during the week works best forme.  It hard for me on Friday/Saturday nights

I agree Chupa, Raids should be scheduled for a better time for those of us who are on different sides of the world.  Or better yet, everyone move to California so that there never is a problem with raid scheduling.  Just a thought....

I like the dark/techno theme for our base. Also, lets keep the "Trauma/sick bays" close to the portals for quick get aways. Banners, pics, colors from the I7 stuff is very cool as well. Ubber.
