Officer meeting recap and plans for the group

<font size="2">So, our officer meeting happened tonight. I'm posting it in this forum because I want all members to be able to know what's happening within the community, and how it's being led. Feel free to give your own input and what you think.

Before I recap tonight's meeting, I just wanted to thank everyone who came out today. It was very successful, and although the turnout at the scheduled time was poor, in the end, we got feedback from a lot of officers and players who logged on vent (thanks Aemon, Blue, Kegger, Imagikan, Jared, False, Elric, Zaz, Stomp, Dom and Col) Here are the results:

</font><font color="#00ffff" size="2">Promotions:</font><font size="2"> Imagikan (Claymore Frost on the forums) and Jared(Masterjedijared on the forums) were named our two new officers.Everyone make sure to welcome them! Give them the utmost support for taking on the responsibility of being an officer and not getting paid for it.

</font><font color="#00ffff" size="2">Freedom:</font><font size="2"> There seems to be a good deal of support for moving theSupergroup to Freedom. We started toons there today to test out thewaters, and the activity was really impressive. It seems a viable option considering we want to start raiding again, and Protector has a small pool of raiding SGs. I would like an open discussion soon. I'll create a new thread to get all the feedback, but feel free to add your two cents here for now.

</font><font color="#00ffff" size="2">Other games:</font><font size="2"> We decided to stay away from other games for now. We'llcontinue to be present in Age of Conan, but only focus on AoC and CoHfor now. Aten will continue to lead Vindictive in AoC. He's a great leader, and I want everyone to give him our support. Mikey and Ivy will continue to be officers from the original Vindictive, and Xual, Syphion and Bower will be the other officers in AoC Vindictive. As always, contact me or Aten (forum name 3ntropy) if you plan on trying out AoC.

<font color="#00ffff">Raid team:</font> So we'd like to put together a new raid team, but make itvillain side this time. We're not 100% sold on Freedom yet, so there isstill the possibility this will be made on Protector. Regardless, Iwant to start working on this team. Everyone should be reading the base raid guide I wrote to see what toons we need and how to get started. Ifyou want more info, contact me through the forums.</font>

Damn work /wrist.

Grats to the new officers, always nice to see new victi-.. officers in our supergroup.
Definately watch out for claymore he's very shifty!

I know your going to make the new discussion thread Tryden, but these thoughts are full of love and joy and i'll forget them in the morning, so im just going to say a few points.

Firstly, I for one, support the move to freedom, i've talked this over with Tryden in the past and feel its a really positive step. It felt strange leaving the home server but Freedom makes the game so much more alive. (When im on)

As far as raids go, i have my fortunata ready and IO'd out so whenever you make a SG send me an invite. (Generally i've been noticing the new 8 man team consists of 4 forts, 2 thermals, 1 sonic, 1 kin) this is for arena but im sure it would work in base raids, throw in a stormy/dom or something.

Anyway, see you on freedom.

Eh, if we want to PVP and raid and what not moving to Freedom or another bigger server is really the only way to go IMO. Even if we got a group going again, who would we fight on Pro these days? Protector seems to have turned into smaller version of Freedom, minus the PVP action. Everyone farms and farms, making it even harder to get a normal team going. My only problem with Freedom and Virtue is, forget doing anything as a group during double XP or when i13 comes out, because of the capped server loads. But that's a very small part of the time... Idk, in the end Aemon's info about the state of COX has me wondering if whatever we do will end up being fleeting and short-lived. :p

Sorry I was at work and not able to attend. Gratz to the new officers and yes I did start a tank in Freedom and up to lvl 4 atm...&nbsp; Names Sybr Blade II if anyone will be on during the weekend.

Please do this. I can't stand everything about Protector. I think this would be a very positive step for Vindictive and Benediction.

Yeah, I was on Freedom tonight and had a blast, but then again I did Katie with Hatedom/Reason2Hate and those guys are always a trip. Went from 32.5ish to 33.6ish in 33 mins. Team chat was off the wall the whole time as usual. I think I'm gonna start playing on Freedom more and venturing back to Protector when my friends have things going on.
