Server transfer and merge or some what.

Once server transfer are available I will be moving to Balmung. I have a good group of friends from FFXI on there willing to take us in. They are pretty active and friendly. But seeing that there is really only like 3 or 4 of us actively playing I don't think this move will be that big of a deal. Rumor is the transfer will be available start of October with a free period to change.

Also they are not very interested in PVP I don't think. Atleast i'm not really sure. But I know Dark Linda and I are so we might not actually join their FC. Might just join a Linkshell instead that way we can get best of both worlds. I'm not sure if its actually possible or not to be in multiple FCs.

but on an none troll thing i been strugling to stay with the rest for some time i have atleast 2 toons made in biger servers (diabolos and leviathan) they are low lvl but seeing how easy it is to lvl i may take the scraping route and just start over if the transfers aren't free 
 
I would be willing. I would much rather see us in a Vindictive guild, but I am open to transferring if it means we have more people to run shit with. Just keep me posted.

So what is the verdict on this? I will be starting up on this in about a week (MAYBE two) and would like to roll with my fellow guildies, even if I have yet to meet this section of our fraternity. (Yes, I totally view us in that light)

Server and such info? (I saw something already but want to make sure nothing changed) I'll be rolling either a monk or warrior, still deciding which method of pain I would prefer to unleash.... such a painful choice... bash in faces... cleave people's skulls.... bash in faces... :?
 
Monks have the potential to be the highest dps class, as long as the enemy doesn't move. Warrior, you're going to end up in a more tanky role (as they queue for all dungeons as a tank not dps).
 
well i been hearing that the 1st 5 days of server transfers will be free so i think we will go with the transfer to balmug

i for one made a new toon on faerie and i'm already lvl 42 there i will be transfering the one in cuoerl to balmug stillbut unless we get some type of shedule i don't know if i will be using it much (this fc i'm in on faerie has about 600 people and it's very active at any time of the day)

about monks they are very fun to play with all those combos and stuff i think they must be one of the must active hiting job but like eric sayd if the stuff you are killing moves or you need to move to dodge bad stuff your dps goes down

about warriors like eric said they are tanks and right now they are considered worse than paladins for end game so if you want a dps with sword/axe or something in the alikes i would say to go dragoon

i also have to say that on one toon you can be all jobs so it's not something you can't change if you don't like it just take them to about lvl 15-17 so you can have a fell for the class in dungeons

and don't wait till we move just join the server you can lvl your toon and move with the rest when they do open transfers

I agree with this. Warriors are queuing as tanks so unless you want that role, I would stay away from it. Monks are cool as hell, I loved them in Final Fantasy XI and in XIV. Great class there....
I am however absolutely in love with Dragoon though, I love the damage output and the combos are awesome.

I would definitely recommend starting sooner than later. Join us, we may not have a lot of activity now but a few of us do log on quite often, I will be on tonight for quite a while(unless I get my Battlefield 4 itch).
 
Appreciate the feedback. As far as DPS or tanking goes, I actually enjoy both roles, hell I've even enjoyed healing before XD

I will hopefully see you guys soon. Just waiting to confirm finances before starting up. Also hoping my shitty laptop will be up to par for minimum standards XD It was rated insufficient on the bar thingy ><
 
So I got the game, got caught between monk and dragoon, so my son helped me choose "The spear guy" and now... I find my computer sucks big hairy assballs. Takes 5minutes to load some quest npcs and longer sometimes when zoning.

Thankfully I should be fixing this problem soon XD Made one toon on Fairy thus far, lemme know whats up and I'll try to meet up with some of ya. (if schedules don't conflict)
