Which build is better than...

I just wanted to start a post for fun.  This isn't anything serious but it can be use as a GENERAL reference when PvPing against someone.

Ok, the rules:
1)  Post a PvP build that you think is decent
2)  The next poster may post another decent PvP build OR they can post a build that would be effective against the previously posted PvP build.
3)  Post a little description on why that build is so effective.
4)  I will arrange the builds in order of which build is better than which build.

I'll start.

An effective PvP build:
IceArmor/EM Tank.  A defensive-base build;  it is effective in PvP since your enemy must hit you first inorder to do anything...this means that toons that rely on mezzes will have a much harder time.  This build is effective against pretty much all Scrappers since Scrappers require melee range to do damage and Ice Armor has Chilling Embrace and Energy Absorption which works in melee range.  Hibernate also recharges extremely fast and is pretty much a godly power.

A build that is effective against the godly IceArmor/EM Tank:
EM/ElectricArmor Brute.  Electric Armor has an extremely high resistance against energy-based attacks suck as /EM...you can easily cap your energy resistance (at 90%).  This means that an IceArmor/EM Tank wont do much damage against you.  This build also offers endurance drain resistance and slow resistance so an IceArmor/EM Tank wont drain your endurance with Energy Absorption.

A Build that is effective against an EM/ElectricArmor Brute:
SS/ElectricArmor Brute.  For the same reason...Electric Armor offers capped resistance against energy damage so energy will barely scratch you but you are doing smashing damage against the other Electric Armor Brute which is resisted but not as much.

Fire-based attacks would do extremely well against Ice Armor too because Ice Armor has pretty much no defense against fire and very little resistance against fire.


In general:  SS/ElecA > EM/ElecA > IceA/EM > Scrappers =(.
 
Ice/Energy or Fire/Energy Blaster (with a tray full of breakfrees)
- Powerboosted personal force field
- Powerboosted aid self
- Effectively a tier 9 (Force of Nature)
- Blasters 30% unresisted damage in each attack.
- Upcoming 12.5% dmg increase
- Enough damage to blow through dull pain and Instant healing.
- Powerboosted aim+bu, can blow through anything.  even elude.

The counter..
I'm open to suggestions here as powerboosted pff will stop any dominator holds from ever hitting through.
 
The counter:
-You can get a Dark/ Defender or /Dark Corruptor and use Howling Twilight.  This power is an auto hit so PFF wouldn't matter.  From my experience, people who use PFF will not pop a Break Free before they get mezzed since they are over confident about it and either don't know or don't remember auto-hit powers.  I'm also pretty sure that Acrobatics does not offer disorient protection.
 
with a tray full of break frees you can pop one every 30 seconds for the entirety (is that a word?) of the match. at least thats what i bring to my matches, unless I'm fighting Genma, then i go without inspirs coz its all skills son!
