I made my ice/cold today, Therman Merman (Bad Santa Reference)
1 Quick question, will you guys be on when i am working or will i actually be part of a team?

I am available on
Mon - Friday (7pm - 12am GMT +10)
Sat - Sun (8am - 12am GMT + 10)
 
Hey Lanks, chances are we will probably be on when you're not on but chances are we'll also be on when you are on too =).  That's why I'm working on the availability right now to see what time would be most convenient for everyone.

Of course, this is just for fun so don't quit your job or anything for it!

Ok, well I created my corr before I went to work today (since Spine kinda hinted I should, lol) so I've created Blue Jr, she's in Mercy ready to go at lv2.
 
How to use the time converter (http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc):

Select the "Use The Following Date/Time" option.
I said that we will be starting today at 2pm PST (Pacific Standard Time) so if you live in an area where it is EST (Eastern Standard Time), go ahead and type in 2:00 and select PM under "Time".
Now, under "From Time Zone" select PST8PDT and under "To Time Zone" select EST.
Then simply click "Convert Time Now" and it will tell you on TOP of the page in red, bold letters:
"02:00:00 p.m. Monday November 19, 2007 in PST8PDT converts to
05:00:00 p.m. Monday November 19, 2007 in EST"
This means that the event will start for you at 5pm...duh

Spine if you want I can grant you access to the calender on the website to list the times when you want us to meet. This goes for anyone who wants to create SG events/and or organize them.

Send me an e-mail to let me know. You don't have to be an officer to have access to the calender to list events.

playing a dark/kin lvl 18, by the name of ZanyBox, I think. Too many boxes to remember got to be differnet screw the FOTM FTW and all that crap.

Of course the time diff makes it diff but i will be there when possible. I play on freedom alot just cause of the bigger player base but enjoy the comraderie of protector more. so send me a tell I will switch NP.   Global is @Box

Awe...I thought only I have this priviledge =(.  And yes please.
 
It's very rare that I can make it on time, so I think I"ll just drop out, you guys are already WAY ahead of me, and I won't be able to catch but.  But I"ll keep my newly made corr, who knows maybe one day I'll play her

Well we can always lk you Blue. So that's not an issue.

Looking at the roster however, I'm kinda dissapointed we have no Fire/Rads or Ice/Darks, two amazing combos that are awesome in both PvP and PvE. Fire/Rad is in my opinion the best kind of corruptor you can have in SC, and Ice/Dark is amazing in PvP as well as being a PvE behemoth.

If anyone of the lower levels aren't happy with their corruptor or want to try something new, try making one of those.

That pretty much means that you have to make one of those =X.  Tryden rules his SG with an iron hand =O.

You can also try Fire/Dark and Ice/Rad, those are amazing as well.


As for Blue...don't worry, there will be days when you can play with us =).  Remember, the higher level we all are, the faster it would be for you to catch up to us when we LK you as well.
 
Yeah but we already have an Ice/Rad. Fire/Dark is not too bad, but in that case Fire/Cold is also good too.

I just singled those two out because they work awesome in a PvP team dynamic and are also amazing at teh PvE.

Also, half the people in this thread need avatars. Seriously, I can't tell who's who.
 
Do you think we should keep this going everyday?  I was thinking maybe do this every other day so that people can play other toons and it wouldn't feel so much like a chore.
 
Yeah, I agree, every other day would be the best. Or even better a few times a week. However since we're just starting, let's see how often people want to do it, and if there's an urge to do it everyday initially, then we can do that.

When people start lagging behind in levels we can slow down, or take time to use our higher characters to PL them to our level.

Anyhow, I don't plan on holding this Corruptor event tomorrow, since it's Thanksgiving in the US.  However, I probably will be on and if enough of us are on then we'll see...but no plans for 11/22/07.
