Zimbio is quickly becoming my favorite website. Keep telling me I'm a princess, Zimby baby, and we'll go places!

Not gonna lie, my first thought was "Wait, how is Boromir in GoT?"

edit: I want to point out that I didn't know it was the same actor until I looked it up on IMDB just now.

Watch it NOW!

TV Show hierarchy:
1. Game of Thrones
2. Breaking Bad
3. Dexter?

Just finished Breaking Bad actually. I'm voting for watching either Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, X-Files, orVikings next. Kinda leaning toward Vikings, because Vikings.

Oh man, you guys opened up this can of worms.

[DOUCHEBAG ELITIST ALERT] The Wire and Sopranos are better than all three of those shows. I wouldn't put Game of Thrones in the top five. I'm still on season three of Breaking Bad, so I can't judge yet. But I hear the final season is one of the most critically acclaimed of any show, so my hopes are high

Also, Mad Men is a notable mention and a personal favourite of mine, but after the last season, I don't think it's a top three show any longer

Now, where to rank comedies is a harder question. There is a lot of good comedy on TV right now, including Party Down, Parks and Rec, Archer and Community (the latter becoming kind of shitty of late). But, historically, it has to go to Seinfeld (with respect to Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiam and the first seven seasons of The Simpsons). I would put Seinfeld in the top five because it was the first real existential show on television, and while there are a few shows that I think were funnier, they didn't change the game like Seinfeld. Everyone gives credit to the Sopranos for changing television and giving it the production values of movies, but I think Seinfeld fundamentally changed the way a lot of TV shows are written

As for personal favourites, Freaks and Geeks. So sad that got cancelled after only one season :*(

Freaks and Geeks was amazing. The Wire and Sopranos I haven't seen yet, but they are on the short list. By all accounts, they are some of the best shows to grace the vacant orbs of people anywhere.

I missed the boat for Seinfeld, but the Mr. also venerates the show, and I'm inclined to agree. On paper, Seinfeld is fantastic. I respect it, but I'm not personally partial to it.

I feel like I'm only really qualified to comment on 90s cartoons with any measure of authority. Top five (not in order):

1. The Tick
2. Kablaam
3. Aladdin
4. Freakazoid
5. three way tie between Animaniacs, Cartoon Planet (Space Ghost Coast To Coast!), and Johnny Bravo

Honorable mentions: Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Buzz Lightyear, Captain Planet

Invader Zim doesn't count because I didn't see it until 2003.

Boom.
