AoC

Well, I'm going to be making a purchase of the game soon. I'll need get some more memory to help out my poor PC out. Unfortunelty, I'll be discontinuing my account with CoV/CoH for a while.

Running AoC on my PC = failed!...

I was running my video setting on low... and tweak down until it looked cartoonish.

I've got a minmual requirements met and its still choking.

I've got
3.2Ghz Intel Celeron
8600 GeForce GT Ndvida 256k vid card
1gig of memory
75g HDD with plenty of space.
 
I've ordered two memory sticks (1gigers), which will give me about 2gigs. At this point I don't think I'm going to be playing AoC until the memory comes in or If I invest in getting a new PC.  Back to CoH/CoV...

Extra memory should definitely help.

Yeah, your computer, even with the extra mem will run this game like shit bro.  I have a dual-core 2.4, 2 gigs of RAM, a 7900GS, and my computer can barely handle it.

The game runs strange on my computer....I can run just it and it runs decently on medium graphics with minor stutters here and there. Then the other night I was running 2 accnts of CoH and AoC and it ran the same :/
I got a 9600 quad core, 4gb mem and a hd3870x2 radeon. 
If I turn graphics all the way up on it..it cripples me

It's your card, AoC doesn't like Radeon cards.  Get a 8800GT(S) or one of the higher 9800 series cards and it'll do much better.

This only happens because developers are whores who walk away with hands full of cash for designing a game tailored toward Nvidia's cards. Same shit with Intel processors.

Competition is good because it keeps prices down. The fact that this shit happens seriously pisses me off.

Yeah, I've gotten AoC to work now.. Its seems that my Free AVG was jacking it up, so I've removed it and added McAfee instead for a AV and now its playing AoC on low setting on my vid.. BOO! Ndvidia, very little CoV/CoH now. My in game name is Arterimis. My new crack see ya there.

   Can I get a guild invite for "Vorhes" level 16 conquerer. I finally got AoC up and running after a marathon of download patches. I have a Pentium D 2Ghz. with 2 Gigs of ram and Nividia 7600 gs on low graphic settings just to run AoC. Is it worth it?  HELL YEAH!

Ok, Serious questions to follow.

1)  Do we need a tank?

2)  If we need a tank, do they level well on thier (as i dont think anyone will level with me)

3)  If a Tank isnt needed, what types of AT's are needed as 'PURE' DPS types (ie; Mage or Rogue(if that isnt informative enough, please contact Tryden, Hock or Brainbot for equivielent WoW AT's. as im sure they will let me know what we need for the game.)

4)  Can I level Solo? (and if i can, can i do so as the AT's listed above with relitive ease)

Im sure i will think of more in the weeks to come.  But know that i am asking these questions with honest intent to help further the guild.  Tryden and Hock/Hell will vouch for me.

Lol, you come back and join and I cancel my subscription.  Dan you phail, but not at being sneaky and stealling booze =D  Anyways, I really have no idea what I'm going to do.  Might possibly keep playing my Warshade or tinker around in WoW since season 4 is starting, IDK.

To be honest, we have everything pretty much Set for now (Set, get it? lololol). Anyway, just make what you want. We don't have a Bear Shaman atm, which plays like a Tanker Priest, so that could be cool. I might make that as my alt.

So I got my assassin to 22 almost 23...gotta admit I'm starting like this game quite a bit. First 20 lvls in tortage were not as painfull as I thought it would be. The destiny quests were fun...got to assassinate a dude in his sleep. Game has been running pretty decent for me...cept when I got to Old tartania i think it is...my fps dropped to like 15 fps (/wrists) from what was usually 55 or so. But yea, liking the game...I'll be playing more of it.
