Ascension - guild for alts

Hey guys,

So Sallem and Joken have a guild they made called Ascension sitting at rank 6 right now. Since we've been talking about making an alt guild I was wondering if everyone wanted to use this to put characters we don't play often in. This would be for characters you maybe play once or twice a week so they don't bog down our guild ranking, but also let you keep in contact with everyone.

Sallem offered so I thought I'd ask everyone what they thought

I think it is an awesome idea. Having over 200 members in the guild, when a lot of them havent been on in over a couple of weeks really slows the guilds progression. 
 
My ideas are going to be seen as extreme by I plan on putting all my alts, active or not, into Ascension. If we can get our roster just below 200 members, we will level a lot faster. This cannot be done until this guild is in the alliance and I recommend this be an alt guild for every alliance guild. If we were to go through with this, we would need to bring it up with the other alliance leaders, so someone please do as I will be unable to attend.

Any thoughts?
 
I think its a good idea, moving every alt into Ascension except for a single alt (maybe) that you are the most active with.  I personally have removed all but one of my alts from the guild already, and was about to remove the last one (my unloved zealot) until I hit 40 with my Sorc.
 
But wouldn't it mean that we wont be contributing EXP to our main guild if we're playing on our alt then...?
 
I don't really have alts but I made a zealot.  I would put into Ascension.  But I would also like to be in alliance.  But vent is second best.

The amount of XP a single person contributes to the guild degrades for having a lot of members. The idea is to have as many ACTIVE members as possible, and keep alts to a minimum for the fastest guild leveling.
