ATTEN: MAGIC THE GATHERING PLAYERs

I used to in high school. And I still have most of my old decks. None of them are updated with cards past Champions of Kamigawa, though. :/ 
 
I have shit tons of cards nothing new but i started way back right after beta.  I pick up a deck of new cards every so often.  Havent played much in a long time.
 
Genma and I were talking a while back about playing over Skype or something. But we weren't sure about the visual quality and I'm afraid Genma, untrustworthy person that he is, would cheat rampantly if I couldn't make out his cards.*

Is this something people do? Play over Skype or some other program?

yeah thats what i was gonna ask next cause i want to play test at times but people ussually only get together on fridays for fnm's and such and i wanna do a tourney commin up pretty soon, well anyways yeah people play on skype(pretty much why i was asking)
 
Id be willing to try this and Im sure Tryden would too since we were already looking into it anyway. I was at a toys r us tonight and saw some booster packs to the new sets that are out, Gatecrash or something.
 
I would imagine its the same principle People use to Play PnP DnD over Mumble,Vet, Or Skype.
But a decent web came, have headset/Mic and play. Me and some friends use Skype to play DnD often. It works out. If you have vent and Music bot setup then it would add to the imersion factor while playing DnD. which is what I do when I DM.

Just keep the camera on your dice/Cards and that way no cheating really.
 
I'm in with the following conditions:

1. I can play shirtless.&nbsp;
2. Spine joins us and plays shirtless.
3. Lanks joins us and plays shirtless.
 
wait you dm over skype and you never invited me im pretty mad at you right now

also yeah so i wanna play 2 formats in particular, its standard and modern. easy and most common&nbsp;rules sets.

Currently offloading my cards little by little on eBay for gun money.

ooo ill totally buy a few if i see anything that is interesting if you have a link.

also modern basically allows you to use cards from 8th edition and up, while standard is a short cycle you&nbsp; can only sets that come out from within 2 years of each other, so every sept or october the oldest set rotates out and dthe newest set rotates in, both fun but standard is easier to get into cause it uses the newest cards only while modern decks tend to have a higher power curve cause of the many card combos that you can think off.

for standard i play grixis control style decks(red blue and black) but for modern i am undecided cause of the sheer amounts of decks you can make
 
Grixis control. You even have names for your deck. Too pro. I have a white deck with way too many cards in it, cuz i cant figure out what i wanna cut out. I am true casual.

I typically only post around 100 cards at a time.
 
alright im bumping this thread to see if anyone shows interest to play magic over skype\vent w\e(im up for it when ever)
