Disclaimer: I don't know what happened and this is the only side of the story I have heard.<div>
</div><div>I logged on this morning and was greeted with a lengthy butthurt filled email from Rybish, a GM for some other guild on Siel. He informed of some members kill stealing mobs in BC Monday night and when confronted about it they responded with QQ and "get better DPS". Then it was more blah blah about how he would chew out his members if they were doing this and that he is going to report us if it happens again. Obviously I don't care about any of that, especially about him "reporting" us, *rolls eyes*<div>
</div><div>What I do care about is our reputation on this server. We will NOT be that *that* guild. When you have a Vindictive tag on I expect you to act like Vindictive members and this behavior is unacceptable. KS all you want when your are killing Elyos but not in a public, non-instanced location. I posted this here because I want to make sure we have an understanding with all Vindictive members who play Aion. Whether or not it even happened the way Rybish says it did, I don't care. Were supposed to be the mature, 18+ guild here so lets act like it, shall we? </div></div>
 
I admit I was guilty of this once with a Vindictive group. It was my first run through of Blackclaw and we stole Scowl from someone. Got called "professional kill stealers". We didn't really respond or anything, but I basically encouraged us to kill steal. We had our kills stolen a few times, so I guess I got a little defiant.

But that's not an excuse, especially for a co-leader.

So for that, I apologize, and I'll try and be more careful about it in the future. And I'm sure everyone else will too

I ran a BC monday night and the only time we did any kill stealing was when some douche bag griefers kept spawning mobs on us with the "Man in the Black Robe" quest item. After that we stole a few kills, but never sad anything to them.

In situations like this, kill stealing isn't justified. It's NECESSARY. Also you get the legion the douchebags were in?

Nope, not taking his word. Ergo the disclaimer at the beginning of the message. It was more a general reminder about the nature of this guild, this incident just gave me a good reason to remind people of that (and it was clearly not an isolated incident, :p @ Tryden).<div>
