So, last night I ran into some old Warhammer players from Vortex. Turned out they used to be in The Black Comapany, whom as many of you will recall, poached a lot of our members after our guild collapsed in that game.
So they got to talking to me about what happened to that guild after Warhammer. Apparently, like us, they went into Aion. But like Vindictive, their Aion guild disintegrated and they merged with another guild.
The part that gave me a bit of schadenfreude is ... the players that gave us trouble and caused a rift here did the same to The Black Company. And all of them except one ended up quitting TBC.
I was told some of them still kind of talk and stuff but the guild is essentially dead. The last game they tried to have a guild in was Rift, but it ended up collapsing too and they had to merge again.
On a sidenote, we should have a Warhammer Online night one day to relive our fun memories. :3
