So, my thoughts on it:
1. It was silly/cheesy but it wasn't Smallville/Arrow level of cheesy. It's a step up so maybe there's hope for DC's live action (lol who am I kidding, no there isn't)
2. They carelessly ruined one of Flash's big rogues. First, wasn't Mark Weather Wizard, not Clyde? Second, killing him off so quickly means they can't use a big Flash villain for the rest of the show. Though, it's entirely possible that they DO reintroduce Mark since they never showed his body/death directly, and have him also gain weather-control power (or have the wand) which would somewhat allude to comics a little better considering Clyde was the one who came up with the way to control the weather and Mark was like "ohai, mine now." But, if that isn't the case, that leads me to another point that they made Clyde some redneck robber instead of the scientist he was which just degrades the character more.
3. The kid they got to play Barry should be Wally or Bart imo lol.
4. I'm in the same boat as you on the ending, Sigma. My guess is he's either Zolomon with a fake identity or he's a character that they made up who's meant to be an allusion to 1-2 actual characters. I'm not sure which Crisis they're trying to allude to, though. It SHOULD be Crisis on Infinite Earths but it CAN'T because there's no way they could include that arc in the show which means it also can't be Final Crisis.
