edit: I thought this was a prequel to Alpha Centauri, but it's a "spiritual successor." Electronic Arts (boo) owns the rights to AC. Still. I'm freaking excited as hell.

Every time a Civ game gets announced, my epeen gets massively erect. AC never grabbed hold of me like Civ II did, but I'll still probably buy this. Well, once it goes on sale on Steam; I'm cheap like that.
