I made a vanguard in Mass Effect. Who should I put in my squad? How do I bang Garrus? I see him eyeing me when he thinks I'm not looking.

Take whoever you want xD See which ones you like.
For me...I liked Liara for her biotics [Singularity is amazing]
Wrex is pretty good tank wise
Garrus for his tech [Overload is good for taking out shields]
Tali is also good for tech, particularly missions based around geth because she has AI hacking

And well...I didn't care for humans so screw those guys lol.

As for Garrus, he isn't a romance option until Mass Effect 2 [same thing as Tali] and you have to be a female.

Garrus and Liara for life, until ME2, then Garrus and Jack, maybe sub in Miranda .
