CFBI? CCIA?

So, I have forgotten who I was having the conversation with, but the Canadian equivalents for the US FBI and CIA are not the CFBI and CCIA

The rough equivalent of the FBI is the RCMP

Seriously though, I worked pretty closely with the 3rd PPCLI in Afghanistan, and they were probably some of the hardest working people I have ever met. I also happened to be on site with them when one of our dumb fuck pilots decided to drop a few 500 pound bombs on them during a night fire exercise...

When I first started working with them I didn't know what it stood for. When I found out I kinda thought it was a joke.

I lost some good friends when that happened, not because they died, my friends weren't there. It was because there were, naturally, some hard feelings towards the U.S. at the time and I was told that it was not a good idea to stop by on non-work related issues(i.e. bullshitting)...

Oh yes, the Tarnak Farm incident. That was a big deal here in Canada. My newspaper had a reporter and a photographer embedded with the PPCLI and they wrote some sad stories out of that bombing (they wrote sad stories in general, but that one was different for obvious reasons).
