I might slum with you console gamers and check it out if it isn't coming to the PC. My PSN is Zakenis
I'm a PC gamer at heart, especially when it comes to first person shooters. KBAM just beats controllers for precision. HOWEVER, my time dicking around in Call of Duty games has brought me around a bit. I'm just more comfortable lounging on my couch in front of the big screen and holding a controller for a game like this. When I got Thief (2014), I got it on PC. But shit... I'm digging using the controller for Destiny.
Another thing I forgot to mention is that they basically have jumping puzzles in Destiny. Sure, they're not to the extent of those in Guild Wars 2, but I found plenty of times where I'd be out exploring and I'd see a chest, then have to figure out how to get to it. I dig it.
Their social features need a little work. You should be able to join up with others in a Fireteam without leaving the zone. But once the community is over there, that'll be a moot point. As it stands, if you and I are out in the wilderness and want to join up together, it kicks us out of the zone and back to orbit. Then we can talk to each other (if we have mics) and can zoom back down to the beginning of the zone. There's ZERO voice chat if you're not in the same Fireteam. This means when you get placed with others in a 6v6 map, you can't talk to any of them (unless they're in your Fireteam, and if you invite them you'll all be kicked out of the match). This needs to be fixed, even if it's a toggle option that allows you to open the door to the 14-year-olds who want to tell you how much of a slut your mom is.
They also need more emotes than the 4 provided. Seriously... there's only so much you can convey with point, wave, sit, and dance. And sit is almost completely useless. There's no RPing going on here, and using the emote makes you pop a squat on the ground (even if there's a chair nearby). Take that damned thing out and give us "beckon" or something useful. Again, moot point once you've got friends in the game. You'll be outright telling them what you want through headsets.
