That's how it starts. You watch (or read) the first one as a joke, and you can't stop. Then the next one, thinking, "Surely one more can't hurt, I mean I'm watching it ironically." The next thing you know, you've read all the books, listened to all of the audio tapes, watched all of the movies with and without commentary, and you're in the looney bin for biting people when you were blacked out. True story.
