Electric Melee...

Why does this power feel so weak...even though it's not so weak when you look at its numbers in Mid's Hero Designer?

Energy Melee:
Barrage:  28.4
Energy Punch:  41.7
Bone Smasher:  68.4
Whirling Hands:  41.7
Total Focus:  148.5
Energy Transfer:  190.2
(6 powers that does a total of 518.9 if each power is used once)

Electric Melee:
Charged Brawl:  35
Havoc Punch:  55.1
Jacobs Ladder:  62.6
Thunder Strike:  81.8
Chain Induction:  170.1
Lightning Rod:  133.5
(6 powers that does a total of 538.1 if each power is used once)


Their total damage output is about the same...and comparing it to ENRGMelee, which is supposedly the best primary for burst damage, ELECMelee does extremely well.  However, during actual gameplay...ELECMelee is extremely sucky compared to ENRGMelee.

It looks like ELECMelee should be decent in PvP...but it's not.  It's only a god in PvE =(

But against other melee sets you could eventually end drain them (/dark might be a bit harder as they have end drain resist) but invul, fire, (not sure about /ea) willpower, super reflex and regen are your bitches, combine the end drain from your attacks with /electric armors lightning field, you can stop natural recovery of endurance, in other words, you can keep stealing their endurance and they cant get it back.</font></span></p><p><span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Trebuchet MS'"><font color=#ff0000>&nbsp;</font></span></p><p><span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Trebuchet MS'"><font color=#ff0000>I wanna make an electric brute, just need to decide on a secondary for it, I wouldn’t pvp with it coz I have my energy/elec, so for secondary I’m thinking Energy Aura, or Electric Armor, I’ll prolli just roll electric because I prefer resistance over defence, But who knows, I’ve been known to do crazier things.</font></span></p>
 
Yea, I was thinking that Chain Induction's numbers might not be from 1 target either...I guess I'll find out how strong it is when I hit 18 with my Elec/WP.&nbsp; As for Lightning Rod, it recharges in 30 seconds WITH 3 recharge SO's.&nbsp; It's true that it wont be up often but even if you don't count Lightning Rod, ElecMelee is still doing worse than its numbers are showing for some reasons.&nbsp; Maybe because it's more Energy and less Smash?

Trying to level my Elec/WP Brute for PLing purposes later, I expect it to do well with the AoE's and WP being able to perform around a lot of mobs.

I looked on my other account and had an elec/willpower, might start playing it whilst my main account is down.
1000% regen with 10+mobs with 50% resist, yes plz

Not to mention the godlyness that is +30% max hp!!11!1ONE!!!1

Elec/Stone will probably survive better but Granite just takes away the fun =X and I hated the -spd -rech and -dmg with my EM/Stone.&nbsp;&nbsp; But I will let you know when I'm at PLing status with my Elec/WP!

Edit:&nbsp; By the way...what do you do against Fire/Cold/Negative/Energy damage?&nbsp; Youy only get like 10% resistance to them and 17% defense fully slotted...I'm hoping the regen will makeup for it as well as the +max hp.
