FFXIV Recruiting

So do we plan on recruiting for this or are we keeping it small and Vindictive only? I would personally like to see this charter get bigger. What are your thoughts?

If you guys want, I can write up a recruiting post complete with sub-sections and the whole shebang for the FFXIV guild. You would just need to post it on the official forums and maybe the subreddit and bump it

This is why I could never be a guild leader. Way too much work recruiting people. Youre like part car salesman... or a carny.

well i'm the default master (cause the one i want to transfer master to still hasn't created a toon) and i have no skills to do recruiting so unless someone wants to do it ...

I don't think you need to transfer leadership. I would like to see the FFXIV charter grow, but if that is not what anyone else wants I am not going to force it.

I think if we do recruit, forum posts would be the best way to go, but I have no problem sitting at Dragonhead or in Mor Dhona and shouting.
If we try and fail, I am ok with that. My mom says failure and I go hand in hand.

Do we want to give this a try?

SHE'S WRONG. Well, except that time you DC'd at the end of Arah. I guess then she was technically right. BUT SHE'LL NEVER KNOW.

As for recruiting, my advice is to stay away from advertising in-game. Usually the best way to get level-headed people is to put a detailed recruitment post on the official forums and popular fan forums/reddit. I can definitely write one up for the FFXIV guild.

All you (or anyone else in FFXIV) would need to do is bump it regularly. My strategy is to give updates on what the guild is doing that day (e.g. hey everyone, we're going to be running dungeon X tonight. Anyone interested whisper me in game or check out our forums).

I would also try and get anyone who's interested in joining the guild to sign up on the forums here first, since the application questions will help you get an idea of who's looking to join.

And Dark Linda, I'll play eventually, but I won't be doing much leading. Stretched too thin as I am.
