Here's some information for those considering joining us on FFXIV.
Where are we located?
We're on the data center Primal (North America), on the server Ultros.
What is our goal?
This venture originally started off as an attempt to clear the end-game content in FFXIV before the expansion, and then maintain a high level of progression raiding during the upcoming expansion. That means we only have a few months remaining to reach our goal.
What are we looking for?
As for right now, our lvl 50's comprise mostly of melee DPS, so we really need some ranged DPS and a healer or two. That said, we're maybe a slot or two away from running Final Coil. Now if a few slackers ever hit 50, we'll definitely be raid-ready. In the mean time, we'll probably PUG the last spot or two available.
Raiding experience is not necessary (Zoned and I are the only ones so far, I believe, with MMO raiding experience), but you do need to adapt well and be sufficiently geared. And by geared, I mostly just mean having the minimum to even queue for the raid. Be willing to spend the time to look into your class, and perform to the best of your class's ability.
So you only need a couple more people?
No! We may only need one or two more raiders, but we'll need alternates to fill in when someone else can't make it. And there's always other raids to run, so the more the merrier.
Is there actually a Free Company yet?
As of now, we're riding on the coattails of another successful Free Company until we can break off; that's why we need more people to join us! Yes, and it's named... wait for it... Vindictive! Whisper either Raz Ariel, Zoned Out, or Zettah Reina, and we'll get you a guild invite. If you have any questions pertaining to the FFXIV guild, feel free to post them here. And, of course, we're active on Vindictive's TeamSpeak server as well, so feel free to stop by there too. Looking forward to seeing you all in Eorzea or whatever the Hell it's called.
