Our third place had more kills than their entire team combined.

Lanks had 66 kills. Majinora Brandish had 24. 2+4=6. 666.

To be honest, we let them have some of these because it was getting boring. :/

Itwill be. It's more or less the same 16 people we bring to every raid,with a few switching up depending on work schedules or personalcommitments.

I'd say the team is only about 60% trollers though.But everyone on it has a PvP support build we've been working on withinour own supergroup. Other than that, I can't reveal the teamcomposition, we get asked that a lot

We'll have to see how it does in your base. Should be fun either way

Without raid pylons you cannot win.You just cant</font>---The why is a subject for private conversation. You canhowever, destroy ALL my villains with that MEGA hurricane that I sawyou bring. You are essentially an unstoppable PVP force, very differentthen a normal base raiding SG.

Its one thing to bring a bunch ofPVPers, its another to have a purpose built team with specific roles.With you guys it is closer to a competition arena bout, which we dontcut the mustard. Heck I even let level 10s in my raids just so they canhave fun. The difference is my base supports this.

With youguys, you move in one giant hurricane. So do we, but minus thehurricane. I understand math, and mathematically we cant win asvillains. Not unless I had 10 IOd out Permadoms and 6 /Stormy MMs.

So,we will try our best, in the end I am sure mathematically y ou willtoss us around in the SLOW FEST hurricane that you bring in, but itshould be interesting.

Iwill tactically try to pull every trick in the book, though I am notsure it will be enough.......in the end, as long as I get close to youand destroy you at least once, well thats enough for me

Thruth of the matter,&nbsp; Benediction&nbsp; not only has a great team, its composition and dynamic is unbeatable.&nbsp; He should be thanking us for a great raid and be delighted of having the honor of raiding us.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Is Lanks total PvP kills OVER 9000?!?!

Builds that are good for STF should be good for base raids =X.&nbsp; Too many people think of 1v1 builds when they think of PvP, which is why all other SG's PHAILED before us muhauhahahaha.

The raid was a lot of fun, even with all the KSing... Getting tp foe'd in a big group of their meleers and duking it out with them for a few seconds. Then getting stuck in jail after I threw a nuke on them. I about died laughing when they all scattered from the nuke.

I think I've been killed once with TP Foe on Clay. Always seem to end up being the one getting the drop on them.

Getting challenged to a duel was interesting. I'm kind of glad some of you ended that one. Most Energy melee brutes think they own regen scrappers, so loosing a duel to one might have really made him mad.

Looking forward though, if we do a rematch with the VEAT SG, we will need every leadership toggles and to-hit and +acc bonuses we can get. They are gonna be pushing the defense cap with all their built in leadership powers, so we got to be able to counter that. Then there are all the stormies War wants to bring....

Sidenote: I like the arena and zones but in a base raid mobility isn't asmuch of a factor. This turns off a lot of hardcore pvpers becasue sj/ssisn't a great combo against slow fields. So all that arena/zoneexperience is out the window.

</font></font></font><hr></blockquote><font class="post"><font class="post"><font class="post"><font class="post">Inow have video of how 3 Ill Storm Trollers and Fire Kins (Fulcrumshift), a few fenders bubblers, scrappers and tanks, came in--------------and decimated a mix of MMs, Corruptors, Doms, Brutes,Stalkers who had nukes, shivans, and were straddled between 6 eliteguns. We couldnt hit them with our nukes, shivans, powers due to thehurricanes...........cant kill the Ill pets.......and they destroyed us.

Wehave faced 50 SG raids now and defeated them all with ease. An arenateam of a perfect mix of ATs who move as a single team came in andwhacked a non arena team WHO also move as a single group in a fewseconds.

It was truly the first lol@villains I have ever seen.

Our only hope is to roll an arena team combined with the new Bots/Storm MMs as support.

The base with all 60 elite guns couldnt even hit them with 2 acc attachments on each.

Our anchors up high in walls behind spikes were NOTHING for the illusion pets to quickly dispatch.

We were on teamspeak and could only watch in horror at the difference between powersets and powerset synergy.

Bothsides had perfect control, both sides released nukes when theyshould------in the end the villains could not even compete, and it wasbased on a lack of synergy of powersets---nothing more.

So backto the drawing board for us. This truly proved the difference betweenwhat stormies and fire kins can do compared to a generic villain mix.</font></font></font></font></td></tr></tbody></table>

B. They had corruptors and other none meleers? Were where they? All I saw where stalkers and brutes... And one MM... Why punks??? Been my expereince Necro is good with all the fear and Ninja's aren't bad either... I think he's right though to a point, his team seemed like a conglomerate of random toons.

They had one corr, and a couple of MMs. You nailed it on the head. In raids, FUSION brings brutes and stalkers pretty much.

Villains are definitely underpowered in PvP, but if you have a good team that understands PvP, you can win. That's why we murdered PvP groups like Dark Legion using Vindictive in the past.

Check out my raid guide (outdated, it's pre-I9, but still pretty relevant), to compare our strategies with what FUSION does. I'm pretty sure we could compete with even the best PvP SGs using Vindictive, just because we understand PvP better than any other SG on the server, and because we brought 70% corruptors when we did raid.

Yeah, IMO, Defenders put Heroes over the top in the Heroes vs Villains debate... But, I feel that Corruptors are dramatically underestimated and so are Villains in general by "hero-siders". If you have 16 people all the damage res caps for their respective AT's, which with a good collection of Corrs, you can easily do, (maybe not to psi... but that's beside the point.) throw in even just one bubbler corr into the mix, and you got a hell of a hard team to kill with one thermal on each villain team. In the end though, I fear that Villains simply don't have the symbiotic relationships that heroes do. 4 AT's primaries are damage sets, and Dom's are still damage dealer oriented overall.

it's not only cors that are under estimated, it's doms as well, I've got both, and people don't realize it helps to have the de-buffs and heals...they think that brute force can defeat all, I've changed a few minds reciently on that issue, lol

It's true.&nbsp; Dominators are like THE Archetype in PvP/team PvP, you need them.&nbsp; Corruptors are awesome for buffs/debuffs.&nbsp; MM's are nice since they also buff/debuff and can Bodyguard if anyone even uses that =/.

Pretty much all the VG's we've raided recently have Brutes and Stalkers...you really don't need too many of those.&nbsp; Just a few Brutes to tank and the rest Doms/Corrs/and MM's and you'll give heroside problems.

Only problem with this is that Corrs and Doms sucks for soloing and there's barely any teaming on CoV.&nbsp; Masterminds can solo well but later on it's a pain in the ass to summon 3 different henchmen, then equip all 6 of them with the tier 1 upgrades and then equip all 6 of them again with the tier 2 upgrades.
