Has anyone played Spore?

I'm thinking about getting Spore. Has anyone played it? What do you think of it, the good, bad and ugly?

I've played it, for all the hype i thought it would have been better, but i still like it.
Warhammer is much better

I dont think he has started playing the game, just creating

I did. The creature creator is loads of fun, and so is the starting level where you float around in a primordial ooze trying to survive and eating other creatures to get to the top of the food chain.

It's fun the first round through to evolve your creatures through the different development stages (tribal, industrial revolution, space-age, etc.) but after a while it gets old.

And it doesn't help that the game doesn't have the best interface for micro-managing so many different units once you start warring or trading with other players and their races in space. I played it for the first two weeks but got bored with it.

Is there a demo or something? I say you try that first before you go out and buy. It's not something I could see myself playing for more than a month.

I played it and i enjoyed it quite a bit. You can do all kinds of fun wierd stuff and there are lots of things you can do.&nbsp;
