Alrighty! Open Beta is pretty fun so far but we will have to see these toons off as they will be purged before the servers are set for Live. However! Those of us who have access to Open Beta will most likely have access to the Headstart weekend! This means that we can start playing in the persistent and live environment starting August 29th (Saturday) and we'll have all that time before the majority of the playerbase to level and beat the snot out of villains, Canadians and each other (<3 Tryden).<div>
</div><div>So! First thing first is that we roll toons and have a blast getting through the Tutorial and Newbie Zones. Team size (as of Open Beta) is only five but I'm sure we can get at least one good team blasting through missions if not two or more teams having a blast. Once we get to the first major zones (right after Newie Crisis) and get Regeneration (you don't HAVE to get it...) or some similar passive defensive power we will start some PvP Team Queing! CO PvP is fun enough and gets far more interesting when you have a team coordinating and spiking targets.</div><div>
</div><div>When we get enough folks on concurrently we go to Millenium City and found our SG! I'm thinking of sticking with Vindictive as our name since that's our name but if/when Dark Champions comes out we'll look silly being the evil-doers while calling ourselves Benediction (at least unless we want to make some sort of subversive insult to religious culture WHICH WE DON'T lol). I may stick with Benediction since old CoH-ers will remember the bloody reign of tyranny and either wet their pants or ask to join up upon seeing our flag defiantly fluttering in the wind.</div><div>
</div><div>I think its a healthy goal to get people kit out with mid teens or 20s by time the servers open for the general playerbase. We'll not only have a headstart (per the even name XD) but we'll also have ourselves established and ready to rock.</div><div>
</div><div>Throughout the event, everyone should hop on Vent and if necessary we can make new rooms for various teams and whatnot. Encourage folks who aren't in Vindictive to ask about joining and hop on Vent with us (if they're not total weirdos. Or Spine).</div><div>
