Levels compared to renown

Just wondering if it is better to just level up as fast as possible and then when on your renown when you max.  I noticed alot of peoples level higher than their renown rank. I have been going the slow path and usually max my renown before I level should i be doing that.
 
It's good to keep your rr with with your toon's lvl, but you can catch it up quick when you are a lower lvl in a tier. For example, if you are lvl 28 running around in t4, you can make mad renown to catch your rank back up in a hurry. So yeah, it's better to not be like me and hit 40 with an RR of like 22ish. :p
 
I've always maintained a certain level to renown equilibrium.  It enables me to take full advantage of the best pvp gear that is available be it sets or tier experience rewards.
 
I always was about 3-6 ranks between renown and carreer, but i did have little to no rvr in t1 and t2 so i had to fight to get it to that in t3.
 
I was rank 40 with like 19RR reason was my old server barley did t2 scenarios and I only did 1 t3 before ileft the t3 bracket... So I did some rvr on this server and got to 22 in less then 2 days and then to 38 it took me like 5days of 3hours a day rvr
 
From my personal exp with Aribella I was behind on RR and was able to level my RR up pretty quickly, however that being said Uchoo suggested once to keep the RR within 2 levels of your level. This allows you to get into Ann. gear and other such good toys
