Maru and Destroyers catching up

So as many of you know, I check VG rankings daily. Right now, the Maru Ka'ge are making around 5-10k more prestige than us a day. The Destroyers of the Free World on the other hand are making more like 15k more than us.

We're still 2 million prestige ahead, which is a pretty safe distance away. But if they continue their rates of prestige earning, especially Destroyers, than we'll be overtaken in a few weeks.

So what do you guys think we should do to get more prestige rolling in?

Those VG's are farming and PL-ing their lowbies, we can do the same by organizing more RSF or Warbug mishes too. The mish to farm should be Radio's freaks mish or Fake Nemesis for prestige and leveling.    Jorge.

Straight to the point (like it or not):

For one, alot of people are not playing this game for whatever reasons (strictly speaking of Vindictive). So, less prestige coming in because of that reason. Everyone is free to do what they want of course. The decision for some to go over to WoW has reduced the number of players that will help keep Vindictive on top. Remember, this is became a commitment when it was decided a year ago to start a Super Group.

Secondly, it's the same people playing over and over again keeping the boat afloat so to speak. Some people come on, and if there is no RSF, they leave. Others come on and don't get teams going and don't run mishes, like they used to. Some come on and go AFK and then log. Result: no prestige.

What do you guys want me to tell you that has not been said before regarding the earning of more prestige. Maybe i8 will respark an interest. If not, then what next. i9?

All I know is that it cannot continue to be the same few people being the only ones bringing in the prestige. Some of those people have other alts that they want to play that may not be in the sg. Ergo no prestige for Vindictive. Other people need to contribute as well. It's up to everyone to do their part.

Great points Dom. I agree that alot of people aren't as active as they should be, but then again the game (CoV) has gotten a little stale for some of the Veteran players, I'm included as I mentioned on previous posts. You can tell by my prestige that I am as active as they come. I leveled X2 toons to 50's and 1 toon is 21st level. What keeps me here isn't the game, but rather my V.G. mates. I think we have the best players and V.G. on this server but in order to keep them here in Vindictive, CoV "the game" needs to be more "fun". I don't know how to breath new life into this game? I hope that i8 or i9 will fix that problem. Or if we need more raids, RSF's or farming then so be it. Tryden introduced an alternative for the V.G. and participation is voluntary but new strategies need to be explored and discussed for the future of this V.G. In order to move up in the ranking we need to plan the game activities with our V.G. members and it has to be fun again.                                                  jorge.

I love how you stay on top of things.  But wasn't it you who came up with WoW idea?

I personally, play in SG about 98.5% of the time. You know, I collect badges and sometimes "it is all about infamy" baby. 

I'll do what I can to PL lowbies and run mish, and hopefully some strike force. But it would be appreciated if those who crossed over to WoW (most of them Warmasters) would join us and contribute to the cause.

RV farming is a quick way to get prestige for the V.G. as I said in previous posts we need a RV night regularly or a RSF as much as possible. I think we're a very cool and laid back V.G. If our people want to play CoV,CoH,WoW or Super Nintindo Mario Kart then so be it as long as people are having fun.

I agree with Nos and Dom.

There is no way i would still be playing if it werent for the ppl in this game...and that means Sg pals...so i hope Vindictive can get more active.

And RV and SF's are ways to get lots of prestige.

But for freak mish youll need Kinetic and a Granite that herd's or it takes forever.

 I have put measures in place to secure vindictives future by recruiting some newbies who are still hooked on the game and I ride them like a drunk porm date .I feed them infamy and pl as much as possible but when its the same peeps everynight back to back fighting it out .We need to take out the trash and make way for those who want to play .I say we enforce the 15 day rule and boot their asses not to sound coarse but we are dancing around it .I joined vindictive because it fucking rocks I saw all these villians on at the sametime and in the same VG and said WOW this is home.Now it seems like only warmest or altos .We need a transfusion of new blood to make this work,but this is just my opinion .Keep in mind with coh we need peeps in our (warmasters) absence to keep the pres ball rolling .[devil]

 Yeah! Way to go SIXTH! We definitely need more active people and great job on recruiting and BTW, financing our new recruits should be done by ALL our WARMASTERS so please offer to help the newbies as much as possible. I hope I-8 will be the shot in the arm that CoV needs.  Jorge.
