Does anyone have recommendations for a good newsletter service to send email blasts to about 1,200 subscribers?

For you I would recommend Mailchimp, easy to use, also the free service they offer allows a maximum of 12,000 e-mails per month to 2,000 subscribers, or individual e-mails to put it simply.
