Been playing this on steam, its a FTP Diablo style top down hack n slasher. It's basically what everyone wanted Diablo 3 to be. The skill tree is fucking insane (http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEA) and it is actually quite difficult. If you build your character wrong you will never actually be able to complete the harder modes of the game, and there is no full respec possible.

With that said it is fucking fun as hell and worth a look, especially since its free. It is NOT pay-to-win, which is quite appealing. Let me know if you people try it out and what your username is so we can be best friendsies in game.

Lanks and myself went in deep with this game when it was released for a while. Is Barbarian still the roflstomp class?? I think Lanks started playing it again a month or so ago. I might download it again and see what's going on.

We had about 4-5 other people playing as well. Tryden also played it at one point

I thought it was a pretty decent game. Definitely fun to play, especially with friends.

But like Ivy said, it is a very dated type of game. I enjoyed the shit out of the Baldur's Gate series when it came out, and to a lesser extent D2 (D2 was the Harlequin Romance to BG's Homeric Epic). But I'm content to leave that gaming experience in the past. PoE was a nice trip down memory lane, but that was it for me. I'm unlikely to give it another try
