I thought we did very well despite being severly outclassed.  We had 10 controllers against us.  You have to understand, that equals A LOT of utility.  That aside, our tactics were sound, and we adapted.  We stopped caring about getting ganked and only cared about getting one hit on the DA we were targeting at the time.  We knew we'd drop, we just wanted that hit. 

That said, we were outclassed.  We performed VERY well under the circumstances and we still made it a tie.  Thats damned impressive.

Now, onto the not so nice.  I was very disappointed.  I thought it didn't need to be said after what happened with SoE but the trash talk was crazy.  Frankly, that was unacceptable.  At one point, their leader told me, "Hey, if you guys have phase, go ahead and use it.  I know its frustrating.  Next time we'll raid with villians."  He was very nice and understood the situation and shrugged off most of the trash talking.  However, that being said, it is not how Vindictive members should conduct themselves.  I thought we were better than that. 

I thought you guys could rise to the challenge of a hero SG.  One that is older, and has a good group of people.  One that was organized.  I guess I was wrong.  I guess we shoud just stop raiding except for second and third rate SGs that are pushovers.  Sound harsh?  Its meant to. 

We had a raid last week where we got kicked and had the whole thing reset.  We still won AND there was no trash talk.  What happened this week?  You guys adjusted tactics and overcame their massive repels and debuffs.  You beat them!  So why the trash talk?  Why did you guys have to show them how mad you were?  Why did you people act like kids?

Stomp, I'm sorry you came home to this.  I really am.  We did so well against our last hero group I thought another run against a better known SG would be a fun challenge.  I was wrong.  I'll stick to editing the base and not arrange for any future raids.  We aren't prepared mentally to raid in my opinion.
 
FIRST OFF MY APPOLOGIES FOR NOT MAKING IT TO THE RAID. IT WAS MY WEEKEND TO WORK AT THE HOSP./E.R. THIS IS WHY I DONT DO PVP. I HATE TRASH TALKERS. ITS A GAME. YOUR SUPPOSE TO HAVE FUN. EVEN IF ITS A ONE SIDED VICTORY OR LOSE, WE HAVE TO BE COOL. AND BE THE BETTER PLAYER/TEAM BY SHOWING NOTHING BUT CLASS. EVEN TO THE POINT OF COMPLIMENTING THE OTHER TEAM OR PLAYER FOR SUPREIOR TACTICS OR GAME. THATS HOW WE SHOULD BE ALWAYS .

anyway my hide didnt work kept dropping every couple secs. Finally managed to get that fixed last nite after the raid. They had pretty good strategy and remember def and blaster can get the repel shield it wasnt just the trols doing it. Expect the devs to nerf it, hurricane got nerfed which people were abusing before. Also they were using our prison's against us, they were tping some of us into them
 
Hey guys, don't forget, they did have HOs. IMO their whole build was made of them. THeir blaster 3 shotted me WITH unstoppable on... I was mad, but all I did was phase through there stuff (Ya ya ya, i know i was supposed to) I would find the weakest DA, get my 2-3 shots of. Die. Repeat, it worked very very well, took forever... But we won! Congratulations!
 
I'm not a fan of overly long posts. So I'll be abrupt.

This was never a problem back when I led raids. Why? I singled out whoever did any trash talking over vent and told them, politely, to shut the fuck up. Anyone who was there during the second FUSION raid (this was way back in the day) remembers just how frustrating that raid was. We had 9, they had 16. I had to take out 4 of the DAs myself. (I'm a dominator, you better believe it was painfully slow). The point is, not one bad word was said during the raid. As a leader, you shouldn't be apologizing for your members. Tell them to keep it to themseleves because the time they waste bitching is time that they could be actually playing the game instead.

The point is, one of the unspoken rules we had during raids was not to use broadcast, no matter what. I hope you guys are still sticking with that.

Better luck on the next raid.
 
To be honest, thats why I stopped raiding because it got rediculouswith the amount of trashtalking and immaturity.  If I want to hearthat crap and stuff, I'll play Halo 2, I come on CoV/H to play and havefun with friends.  And since I don't have as much time as I usedto have to play, it's all the more important.

ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY.  As Stone can attest to, I personally was quite disappointed (and no i'm not just trying to make Try happy by saying this).  I apologize for the first comment, but like I said, I was very unhappy with our attitude.  I know that I complained a bit, but only in SG speech and only to our guys.  Also, I am not going say names (you should know who you are) but there were some of us that were saying things to us that, quite honestly, brought us down.  I personally stepped in at that point and said to cut it out.  So rather than doing something rash, I decided to bide my time even after things were said BY THE SAME INDIVIDUAL.  I know that there were some things said that were in fun, and I acknowledged that at humor and even laughed a bit.  But, like I said, the phrases that bring us down MUST stop.

            Now, Stone said things much better that I could have possibly done.  WE DID DAMN WELL!!!  Considering that the Devas, in their infinite wisdom, allowed the hero's to keep not only their HO's but also their EPP's.  This, in my mind, seriously held us down.  Granted they had all level 50's (save one level 49) and an idiotic amount of Trollers, I still feel that we adapted and overcame.  So many times have we had a raid that we lose the defense, and then we win the attack,  I'm going to chalk it up to that.  We pulled it together and in the last 10 or so minutes, we won our attack on them.


            I cant stress to you all on just how much I appreciate your hard work and dedication.  Everyday you all make me proud that I accepted the position that I have now.  I'm sure that Tryden himself wouldn't ask for anything more from you and there isn't a think that I would ask for either.  Thank you for making my Gaming experience a good one, and I cant wait to (yet again) Dominate other SG's as we always have in the past.
 
First of all,  we did GREAT!!! Yes it was frustrating and tough.  But guys, I'm glad I'm a girl, maybe I'll be the one shedding some light into this:

Stone, you are doing a great job. On the past raids, you have been the one who had stepped up to the plate. Cool leadership! In times like Saturday, you or Stomp you should have said something over the mic. Your paragraph about not setting up more raids (sorry to say) but it's unacceptable.  In a game like this in which you have a super group with hierchy the people that are in charge MUST be in charge. Don't let the member rule the game.

Stomp, before each raid there's gotta be a talk. We have to address PROTOCOL, ATTITUDE and (my personal favorite) CLASS.  I wanna be able to play with the other SG members without feeling embarrassed about our attitude on the last raid. You have to articulate to the rest of the guys that once we come to the raid, we remain in the raid. I did not know how inmature some guys are. So what if we are losing??!! Let's not dwell on that fact, let's do something about it.  Didn't I suggest TP them out of the bubble?
We have to become more pro-active. We need to start considering all possible scenerios and have a contengency plan.  And by the way, we need to start telling the lowbies, what the best build is for raids, what powers will be most usefull for all raids.

Tryden, nice to hear from you. We need your wisdom. I didn't get to read the trash-talk because I was too busy surviving. Your input is needed and greatly appreciated.

To the rest of the gang, grow up!! For heaven's sake!! Don't you think they were laughing at us.  Didn't we laugh last time they were trash talking to us???
Let's do this with committment and good attitude. Let this defeat teach us how to really defend ourselves.  Let's start planning on how to build our toons better.  And more importantly, how to play clean. We should have an open forum over vent. before and after the raid; whether we win or lose.  AND NO MORE FIGHTING AMONGST US.

Lady,  I bow to your wisdom.  What I said in my prior post was said in anger and frustration.  I will continue to set up raids.  This weeken is out of the question however since I am planning on making massive base changes.  I think we did great.  Our initial plans are solid but needed to be adapted.  We did that.  It sucks that we faced 10 trollers.  As Stomp can tell you, 2 controllers are a pain in the ass.  We faced 10.  I think, in the future, people who trash talk simply won't be allowed to raid.  Its harsh, but I think that is the strongest message we can send to our people.
 
Tryden you should been in the raid and experienced it for urself, 16 heroes in purples running around with SB

Anyway as i said before we need to currently focus on i7 and lvling toons before jumping into IoP raids. We need to work on strategy and do mock raids against each other, whole issue with vindictive reloaded has yet to be resolved we have so many alts that need to be moved especially with new alt policy.
 
Wow, Babe !, your my hero, oops heroin, no villianess. Only as a sugestion and I mention this to Dominion XXX. We need to adopt a code of conduct very much like that in F.U.S.I.O.N. I teamed with WARFACE and Co. In task force and Hero hunting and I was impressed. Very disicipline "killas" ,very laid back S.G. Fun, cool, no B.S. very suppotive of lowbies/newbies. Officers are very cool, helpful. and zero tolerance on trash talk and poor team play. Their members are demoted or rewarded based on their actions. THATS how our S.G. should be. For the most part I'm very proud of our group. But, I think there's always room for improvment starting with our behavior which is reflective of our group. . I was there against the F.U.S.I.O.N. raid! I very well remember how frustrating and hopeless it felt. We never gave up! In this last raid, people were wanting to quit mid-raid. That type of attitude needs to be checked at the door because it does not say very much about who we are. We are better than that! This SG needs to have people who are dedicated, positive, respectful, want to have FUN, and classy (thank you RB and Ubber)

Excellent point, Tryden, on the fact that precious time is wasted arguing amongst ourselves instead of staying cool, calm and collected and handling the business at hand.

We all need to get on the same page, from the top to the bottom. We cannot have people working against us within our own SG. There are many good people here and it would be ashame to see something this good just fall apart! I've been with this SG a long while. Even before I joined 12/2/05. I was mishing with some of the original peeps. I looked forward to logging on and being invited by Tryden to play with him/them. I felt I had a home to go to when I logged on. I felt welcome! We need to have open communication my friends. I am not a man who likes confrontation. But I am a man who does not like to see something good go to waste.  

We need to prove to Tryden, and to ourselves that what he built will continue to be strong and grow. We also need to find out how to expand our membership like F.U.S.I.O.N. That would help a bit with space woesf or more.

Stone and those who have stepped up to the proverbial plate, CONGRATULATIONS! I look forward to standing side by side with you in battle! Your efforts are appreciated by those who are mature enough to see them and appreciate them.  

Being an Overlord is a serious responsibility. I couldn't do it. It requires a very mature person/people to be in a position of such responsibility. They will help steer the ship (SG) into either clear waters or into an Iceberg! The lesson should be not lost.

Remember, we will not always win. However, we will always be winners by the type of class and professionalism we display. People will respect that.

Enough with the defeatist attitude. I don't want to log in to find internal conflict amongst ourselves. I want to log in to have fun with all of you and in turn we move the SG along in the right direction. Take very good care Tryden! Your friend always.
