Hey everyone, I know it's been a long time ... Months. I finally have my PC functional again, and while my parents don't feel comfortable with me putting it back on the network that has decent internet, here I am. I've had a download for Runes of Magic going since last night, and it's nearly finished now. So, I've got a few obvious questions pertaining to RoM.

What server are those in game playing on? Also, would me rolling my niche class (Rogue) be a viable option for the group?


P.S. I lied about the goodies.
 
Not sure which server Taichi is on, Claymore is on Govinda. Spine is on Reni, I'm spread across Reni and Artemis although i havent played in about a week.

As for your 'Rogue' question..
You can dual class, so you could always pick tank or healer as your secondary to benefit a group.
 
Hmm... I guess I'll roll on Reni. Is that a PvE server? I love the idea of open PvP but the whole item loss kinda blows.
 
As i recall Reni is a PvE server, and a relatively new server at that.
I think it was only launched a little over a month ago.
So shouldnt be too hard to get started over there.
 
i'm not realy playing RoM anymore except for the occassional get on 5min to kill something then log off again.  but i'm on a few servers reni included
 
Definitely. Freebies are always the best. Did you make a character on the PvP server Grimnol or whatever it is?
 
I'm on Grimdal, I made a priest.  I was talking to Lanks about it last night, but has anyone tried making a guild yet? Or is it one of those can't yet, too poor?
 
To my knowledge, none of us even know how to do so as of yet. We are all basically around the 10/10 - 15/15 range or so, noobtastic.
 
When you get your second class, it's like starting over from fucking ZERO. I thought you would be able to use spells and abilities from both classes, but so far it's just like having a split personality. There is no crossover.

Yea, you'll have to level your second class from level 1, but you do get the general skill from your other class, and of course you can switch the classes around and play a totally different character.
 
Not quite true, frooz ... As long as you keep them very close in level (I try to keep them within 5 lvls), It's not too bad at all. Another awesome idea is to do the daily quests (bulletin boards) or whatever on your primary, and then turn them in on your secondary. I went from lvl 1 to like 8 in about 20 minutes.
