Setting up Raidcall

But, but, I paid for the vent server until November :3

Also, the only other person to recommend Raidcall was Kalsoa. JUST SAYIN'

(Although I do admit it looks cool. The cat and peach colouring really seal it for me)
 
Raidcall is a pretty slick program. I have enjoyed it in the past, but never used it in groups bigger than 5-10 people. So I am unsure of how well it works past that performance wise.

Yess raidcall is awesome, we were using this before in Writhe and had absolutely no issues with call quality. It might also just be my imagination but I think raidcall equalizes everyone's mic volume cause I never had to adjust anything unlike on vent where some people would be really quiet and then there'd always be a guy who sounded like he was shouting into the mic the entire time.
 
Well...this is a definite turn-OFF! I believe in equality for all. Like, seriously? Now we can't even have 13 or younger in the channel??

So, I think Raidcall is a pretty sweet piece of software so far. I like it.

The only downside is there's no Mac support. Our beloved Ghost Face Trilla uses a Mac [throw your rotten fruit and vegetables at him here]. There's an add-on out there that lets it run on Macs, but it's unofficial. When Ghost tried it last night he lagged a lot. Anyone here use the add-on and can give him some tips? I'm gonna bring my Macbook Pro home from work this weekend and test it out myself.

@Mizuzashi Yeah, seems to do a really nice job of equalizing. A couple of people had trouble with being a little too quiet, but we got it fixed. I'm pretty happy with it myself ^__^
