Sleepless Dreaming
New Member
Hey everyone,
Most of you probably don't know me. I'm a reasonably recent addition to the GW2 guild, though I have been taking a break from the game over the past couple of weeks. The most common name I use in games is 'Sleepless'.
I've been doing some reading lately and am very interested/excited about a couple of games that are due out later this year.
The first is one that is already being talked about on these forums, ESO. I've been following it very intently and it certainly shows potential. However, I do fear that with such an ambitious project it has plenty of room for mistakes and/or disappointment. I'll certainly be trying it though and I'm pleased to see that Vindictive is already looking into it.
The second is WildStar. Now, if you haven't been following this then I suggest that you start. Or, just ask and I'll post a few good links for you. In my opinion, this game is looking absolutely amazing and it is the game that I am currently most looking forward to. What it lacks in Elder Scrolls' immersion, it makes up for in pretty much everything else. Some of the highlights so far include:
-Multiple types of structured PVP, from battleground to arenas to 'War Plots' which are a guild activity where the guild builds their own base and then faces off against other guilds.
-Advanced player housing, that is not just a place to put your stuff but a key element of your adventure.
-Raiding (up to 40-man).
-And much more.
I hope that Vindictive is interested in taking a look at WildStar once it is released, because I certainly will be.
However, I'll be playing both ESO and WildStar (ES4: Oblivion is what inspired me to try my first MMO, which was WoW in 2007).
Thanks for reading and happy hunting!
