is starwars the old republic dead or what?I bought the game just befor my pc got sick and thanks to try its alive and well again.so i thoght b4 i did.Ide see if any one else was on it here.Im guessing no one runs on Star trek Online ethier.

played SWTOR for around 8 months (from day 1) - was good for about 4 of the 8 months, then got old - FAST.

when pay-to-play games go free-to-play, you know the game is taking a dump.

If it makes you feel any better, I bought SWTOR but never opened the box. By the time I had free time to start playing, everyone in Vindictive had abandoned it and moved on.

So yeah, I wouldn't even bother. The game stinks. I donated my unopened copy to a video game drive for a Children's Hospital in December.

I played SWTOR when it became free...for like 2 days. Seriously though, the game sucks.

well least i still roll on STO if any one is up to giving it a secound shot id be happy to partner up with you.

it's not that the game is completely bad.  the story is decent throughout and the raids were fun (for a small, small period of time), but the population was FULL of assholes and nubs who had no idea how to play their characters.

Kinda sad.  Bioware spent millions on voice acting, design, etc etc and let it all go to the landfill.  Wasted opportunity to what could have been a badassed game.
